Letter: Fabrizio needs new mouthpiece

In regard to the Aug. 6 column, "How stupid do they think we are?": Not being that familiar with anyone involved, this reads like Politics 101, whose first rule is, "If you can't think of anything good to say about your friend, say something bad about the other people." Or, "A strong offense is the best defense."

Instead of learning about Lee Fabrizio's good points, we were told about the county's failings. Instead of finding out what a good leader he is, we are led to believe all around him are at fault. Are all these officials picking on him just for personal reasons?

This is the second time the author has been given a soapbox to disparage others instead of bragging on his candidate of choice. We might ask him, "How stupid do you think we are?"

It seems that this Fabrizio guy should pick another mouthpiece, as this one is doing him no favors.

Thank you.
