Letter: Thanks to all who supported us amidst our tragedy

We would like to thank all the departments and bystanders who assisted on the accident scene of our daughter to include Pinion Pines Fire Department, River Medical Inc. and Guardian Air. Special thanks to Flight Paramedic Rob Arnold who ensured the best possible care and safe delivery of our daughter to Sunrise Hospital.

Thanks to Barbara, the KRMC Hospice staff, and especially Dr. Matheny for making it possible for Samantha's transfer. Thank you to all the nursing staff, respiratory therapists, and again Dr. Matheny who truly made an effort to ease the immense difficulty of our situation. Special thanks to Joe Throneberry, Kim Timm and Bonnie Walker for the countless hours spent by our side at the hospital. Thanks to Laron Incorporated for your understanding and support. An immense thanks to Stan and Julie Moore for the care they took of our son throughout those long weeks, and the unexplainable peace of mind that came from it. Thanks to both Judys, Joe, the Moores, the Monson family, and the Hualapai Mountain Resort for supplying us with food. An immeasurable thank you to Joe for stepping forward to ease the burden of making all the arrangements that followed our dear daughter's passing. Words could never express what's in our hearts.

Thank you to Sutton Funeral Home for their assistance. Special thanks to the hundreds of people who attended the service, kept us in their prayers, sent cards, donations, flowers and gave their support. It meant so much to us. We wish we could thank each and every one of you personally. Many thanks are given to those who traveled long distances to show their support. A special thank you to Pastor Bill Phillips for such a heartfelt service to honor our beloved daughter. Thanks to Shawn Byrne for the wonderful article that he produced for the Miner. Thanks to Evan and Gina Smith, Cliff and Stephanie Angle, and the NAYSL soccer league for their unimaginable kindness in dedicating the upcoming season to Sam. There are no words that can ever express the magnitude of what this meant to us.

Thank you to those very special people who found the courage to speak during the service; your sentiment will never be forgotten. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the hours after the service at the Hualapai Mountain Resort. Thank you to Rudy Barboa, John Molitor, and all those involved in the Golden Valley Paramedic Program for their help and support during this most difficult time. Thanks to Darrel at Unique XpressionZ for your generosity.

Finally, thanks to our dear friends and family who did anything and everything possible to ease our troubled hearts and minds. We will never forget the outpouring of kindness from each and every person who has touched our lives forever. Anyone wishing to make a donation in Samantha's name to the Kingman High School Girls Varsity Soccer Club can make checks out to Kingman High School.
