GOLDEN VALLEY - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Justin M. Angel, 26, of Blinton, Ill., Tuesday morning on a felony fugitive from justice warrant issued out of Clinton County in Illinois. At 3:50 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Highway 68 at milepost 23. Deputies contacted Angel and a records check showed him to have an outstanding warrant. He was taken into custody and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's detectives arrested Phillip Seth Krumwiede, 26, of Kingman Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of felony possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violation. At 1 p.m., detectives responded to an agency assist at a residence in the 1800 block of Hope Avenue. A Probation officer located a glass pipe with burnt residue along with small plastic bags. Krumwiede allegedly said he used the pipe to smoke methamphetamine. He was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

GOLDEN VALLEY - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Richard Brian Ochoa, 32, of Kingman Tuesday evening on suspicion of felony possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and two outstanding warrants. At 8:50 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Marana Road at Highway 68 and contacted Ochoa, the driver. A records check showed Ochoa to have two failure to appear warrants; a felony issued out of Maricopa County Superior Court and a misdemeanor issued out of Agua Fria Justice Court in Maricopa County. He was taken into custody without incident. A search of the vehicle revealed two plastic bags containing marijuana seeds. He was booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

KINGMAN - On Monday, a horse stepped on his rider after the rider fell off. Around 4:45 p.m., the Kingman Fire Department responded to the 3700 block of Cheyenne Avenue to treat the 42-year-old man. According to witness reports, the horse had lost balance, and its rider attempted to get off the horse when he was caught below it. The man slipped in and out of consciousness while being treated by firefighters for various injuries, including a possible broken arm. River Medical transported him to Kingman Regional Medical Center.
