This weekend, December 27 - 28th, St. Mary Roman Catholic Church will celebrate the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. The weekend Mass schedule is as follows:

Saturday, December 28th: 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.  Reconciliation; 4:00 p.m. Vigil Mass - Dolan Springs; 6:00 p.m. Vigil Mass - Kingman

Sunday, December 29st: 8:00 a.m. Mass - Kingman; 10:30 a.m. Mass - Kingman; 5:00 p.m. No Misa en español hoy.

The Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God (January 1st) is a Holy Day of Obligation. The Mass schedule is:

December 31st Vigil Holy Day Mass   4 p.m. Our Lady of the Desert-Dolan Springs

December 31st Vigil Holy Day Mass   6 p.m. St. Mary - Kingman;

January 1st Holy Day Mass 10 a.m. St. Mary - Kingman

Parish Offices and facilities will be closed on Thursday, January 1st, in observation of New Year's Day. Regular office hours will resume on Friday (1-2-09).

First Friday will be celebrated on January 2, 2008. Masses will be held at 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. at St. Mary Church. Anointing of the Sick will be held during Masses for practicing Roman Catholics who are seriously ill or are 65 years of age or older.  Also, Reconciliation (Confession) will be held from 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. (prior to the 6 p.m. Mass).

There will be a First Saturday Devotional Mass at 9 a.m. on January 3rd, at St. Mary Church.

Donations of canned and nonperishable food items will be collected next weekend, January 3-4th, at all Masses. The food will be distributed by the St. Vincent de Paul Society to those in need.
