John Henry Mitchell, 61, of Chloride went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008. He was born on May 7, 1946, in Memphis, Tenn., to Maxie and Charles Henry Mitchell.
John Henry was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Sara Mitchell of Golden Valley; his sister and brother-in-law, May and David White of Houston, Texas; his niece, Christine Darling; his nephew, Augstin LeBlanc III; his life-time friend, Marlene Gilcrease; and his many friends.
At one time, John Henry worked for Boyles Brothers Drilling of Salt Lake City, Utah.
He attended Chloride Baptist Church and was a member of ECV, Kingman. John Henry enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, hunting and playing his guitar.
A memorial service will be held for John Henry Mitchell at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 17, at Chloride Baptist Church.
John Henry will be greatly missed.
