David Mayfield

David Eugene Mayfield, 60, of Kingman died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008, at his home. He was born Jan. 23, 1947, in Dinuba, Calif., and came to Kingman 24 years ago from Bakersfield, Calif. David worked as a truck driver for Pilot Corporation and was a member of the VFW Men's Auxiliary.

David is survived by his wife, Izora "Dordie" Mayfield of Kingman; two daughters Lori (Kelly) Hartley and Kim (Glen) Hollis, both of Kingman; two sons, Roy (Donita) Whitener of Camp Pendleton, Calif., and Aaron Mayfield of Kingman; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his mother, Josephine (Lee) Hutchens; two sisters, Jackie Rodrick and Esther (Robert) Henderson; and one brother, Eddie Walters, all of Clovis, Calif. He loved to hunt and fish; he was a loving father and husband. He will be greatly missed.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Sycamore Ave.
