OATMAN - A man involved in a motorcycle accident Monday morning on Historic Route 66 approximately 10 miles south of Oatman has died. Michael Frederick, 39, of Osceola, Ind., did not survive head injures sustained when his motorcycle and trailer drifted off the side of the road. He was flown to University Medical Center in Las Vegas after the accident and pronounced dead Tuesday morning.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Wade Alden Anderson, 24, of Kingman early Wednesday morning on suspicion of felony resisting arrest and a misdemeanor suspended driver's license. At 12:10 a.m., deputies observed a suspicious vehicle in the 3600 block of Devlin Avenue. Deputies identified the driver as Anderson from previous contacts and knew he had a suspended license. As they were taking Anderson into custody, he broke free and ran westbound on Devlin. He then jumped a fence in the 3500 block of Devlin. He refused to follow deputies' commands and took an aggressive stance. A Taser was used in order to take him into custody. He was booked into the county jail.
