Jean Siebert passed away peacefully in the arms of her daughter Betty on June 26, 2008, at the age of 82. Born Feb. 14, 1926, in Pueblo, Colo., she was a resident of Kingman until six years ago when she moved to Spokane. Jean was a wonderful woman, who enjoyed square dancing, fine dinners, shopping and her favorite little dog, a Papillon named Chica.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty Meulink; son-in-law, William Meulink; grandchildren, Jacob and Amy Meulink; sister-in-law, Evelyn Turner; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by son Keith Bares.
Funeral services will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hillside, Ill., as per her wishes. Her family would like to thank the staff of Hospice House, Spokane, for their gentle and caring support in Jean's passing. Donations may be made to Hospice of Spokane, 121 S. Arthur, Spokane, WA 99202.
