Kingman Regional Medical Center's Little Minnows Childcare Center has been working for weeks to put together care packages to be sent to U.S. Troops stationed overseas in Afghanistan. All of the children and their parents have been involved in collecting small items such as soap, shampoo, lotion, baby wipes, dental floss, tooth brushes, tooth paste, hard candies and packets of powdered juice to go into the boxes. Each child also made a card to send, thanking the soldiers for the job they are doing to protect our country. On July 2, the children shown here put the finishing touches on the packages and boxed them up for mailing. One of the boxes will be going to the squadron of a mother of one of the children. The other boxes will be going to soldiers in Afghanistan.
