This weekend, July 26 - 27th, St. Mary's will celebrate the Seventeenth Sunday in Ordinary Time. The weekend Mass schedule is as follows:
Saturday, July 26th: 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM Reconcililation; 4:00 PM Vigil Mass - Dolan Springs; 6:00 PM Vigil Mass - Kingman
Sunday, July 27th: 8:00 AM Mass - Kingman; 10:30 AM Mass - Kingman
During the month of July, donations of eyeglasses and hearing aids - in any condition or number of pieces (!!) - will be collected on behalf of the Lion's Club Vision and Hearing programs. You may drop glasses and hearing aids off at the Parish Center on weekdays during regular office hours; or at the Sunday Office in the vestibule of the Church on weekends. The eyelasses and hearing aids will be refurbished and distributed to those in need by the Lion's Club.
July 25, 2008, is the fortieth anniversary of Humanae Vitae, a papal encyclical of Pope Paul VI. The encyclical will be published in installments in the Sunday Bulletin. The encyclical is also available on-line.
All interested parishioners are invited to the Parish Center at 2 PM on Saturday, July 26th, to participate in a planning meeting for our October Church Picnic!
MASS SCHEDULE CHANGES... Father Matthew is out of town visiting family. As a result there will be NO daily Masses until Wednesday, July 30th at 6 PM (Misa en español).
Father Peter Kohler is visiting this weekend, July 26-27th, and will be available for our weekend schedule of Reconciliation (Confession) and Masses in Kingman and Dolan Springs.

We encourage families to join us at Daily Mass and/or for the recitation of the Rosary and Chaplet on weekdays in the summer. With school being out and a few days of vacation being available, beginning the day with Mass or prayer is a wonderful means of thanking Our Lord for the many blessings we have received!!!
Anointing of the Sick will be administered on First Friday, August 1st, at the 8 AM Mass at St. Mary Church. Anointing of the Sick is for those with serious illness or for those who are aged 65 years of age or more. Baptized, practicing Roman Catholics who are seriously ill or elderly are invited to receive this Sacrament during Mass.
The Knights of Columbus council #3145 is chartering a new Boy Scout Troop. The troop meets on Thursday evenings at 7 PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall, located at 2255 East Butler Avenue. Troop membership is open to all boys ages 12 through 18 years of age in the area regardless of which Church they attend. For information, contact the Parish Center.
