I am not a Residents Against Irresponsible Development member and I don't think they are against all growth, but I do think the group is way too inconsistent on their positions as far as zoning is concerned.
For example, RAID took little or no action regarding the rezoning of 31 acres from rural residential to C-3 for Hualapai Mountain Medical Center, which will be surrounded by homes, but then they get angry at local developers who want to rezone 15 acres to C-2.
What's the deal?
Are they for self-centered growth and heck with the rest of us? After living here for 20 years, I say no more RAID-only constituency.
