Donna Rosella Riordon, beloved wife of David Riordon and mother of Melissa Davis, and Kevin and Kelly Riordon, died April 22, 2008, in Kingman. She is also survived by her sisters, Jeannie Loomis of Dayton, Ohio, and Imo Adkins of Tipp City, Ohio.
Donna was born in Dayton on Nov. 28, 1948. She was the youngest of four children. After a career in office management at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Donna married her long-time love and high school sweetheart, David Riordon. Dave and Donna lived in Lompoc, Calif., for seven years before moving to Kingman. While living in Lompoc, Donna worked as a tutor coordinator at Alan Hancock College.
After moving to Kingman, Donna was employed by KRMC hospice as a secretary, and toward the end of her life, as the volunteer coordinator. Donna loved to help people and in return was loved by many. KRMC hospice, along with her husband and children, was her beloved family. All who met Donna will forever remember her.
Thank you forever to Barbara Merritt, Rhoda Deneau, Denny Colvig, Leonard Walker, Bess Burmeister, Denise Nelson, Liz Stevens and Vicki Dwyer, and a special thanks to Dixie Benyo who stayed with the immediate family during Donna's crossing over to heaven. If I have left out any hospice employees, and I know I have, God bless you, and you know who you are.
Donna's remains will be laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery. Anyone who may want to attend her interment may call (928) 757-3071 for details.
