Ernest Ray Fancher was born Aug. 18, 1953, in Flagstaff to Ernest and Norma Fancher.
He went for his last ride on June 20, 2008, at his home with his beloved Nancy by his side in Chino Valley, Ariz.
Ernie grew up in Wikieup, graduated from Mohave County Union High School then worked on several ranches before being hired by Bagdad Copper Mine in 1975 and working there until the present.
He is survived by his wife Nancy of 35 years; daughters, Amanda (Charlie Marriott) Fancher, Aubree (Sgt. Timothy) Exley; son, Jacob Fancher; grandchildren, Mary Marriott, and Timothy and Alana Exley; parents, Ernest and Norma Fancher; sister, Terry (Tom) Steinberger and nephew Todd; along with many uncles and aunts.
Ernie was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.
