Chamber will host annual car show in April

Golden Valley will have its own annual car show again this year.

The show will continue to be a Golden Valley Chamber function, taking place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 26 in the parking lot that serves Y-Knott Gifts Galore and More, the Golden Valley Post Office and Arizona Real Estate at 5369 Highway 68.

The entry fee is $10 per car. T-shirts will cost an additional $10.

"Please let the other car clubs know, as I believe they were told that the car show was not going to be held this year," event organizer Jeri Feneis said.

"I will need help in getting things for the goodie bags and door prizes. I will be working with the GV Chamber to get the flyers out, and to get the door prizes."

The event will feature classic and custom cars, trucks and motorcycles, and a deejay will be on hand all day to provide music.

Anyone who would like to help with the car show should contact Feneis by e-mail at or by phone at 565-3537.
