KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Bennett Franklin Price, 35, of Kingman Monday evening on two felony failure to appear warrants issued by Mohave County Superior Court, three misdemeanor warrants issued by Kingman Justice Court, along with one misdemeanor warrant issued by Kingman Municipal Court.

At approximately 10:40 p.m., deputies contacted Price as he was riding a bicycle northbound on Jimmie Drive at Lum Avenue. Deputies knew Price to have outstanding warrants. Price was taken into custody. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident.

KINGMAN - At about 9:30 p.m. on March 14, Kingman Police arrested April Kathleen Whirlow, 29, of Kingman for felony third-degree escape and misdemeanor driving under the influence.The KPD had responded to a traffic accident in the 3100 block of Stockton Hill Road.

Whirlow was the driver of one of the vehicles. Whirlow was not believed to have been driving the at-fault vehicle, however, she was arrested on suspicion of DUI, a KPD release stated. While under arrest at the KPD, Whirlow managed to get out of her handcuffs, during which time she attempted to flee the office, a KPD release stated. Whirlow was captured in short order and ultimately booked into the Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Cheryl L. Sykes, 30, of Kingman during the early afternoon on March 14 for aggravated assault by domestic violence.

A school resource officer responded to a welfare check on three students at an elementary school in the 3100 block of Gordon Drive on the morning of March 14. The SRO contacted school officials and met with the three siblings. The SRO observed one of the siblings, a female, to have bruising on her left eye. Upon investigation, the SRO learned that the female victim had been hit with a brush by her mother, identified as Sykes, an MCSO release stated. At about 1:30 p.m., the SRO contacted Sykes at a residence in the 3900 block of Devlin Avenue. During conversation with Sykes, she said she might have hit her daughter in the eye with the brush. Sykes was taken into custody without incident. She was booked into the Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Joshua Allen Wilson, 25, of Kingman during the early morning of March 14 for possession of marijuana and a probation violation misdemeanor warrant issued by Kingman Municipal Court.

At approximately 1:30 a.m., deputies contacted Wilson as he was walking in the 3200 block of El Tovar. A records check showed Wilson to have an outstanding warrant. Wilson was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. During the booking process, a search of Wilson revealed a plastic bag containing marijuana, an MCSO release stated.
