Letter: Slow down in school zone

This letter is to express my concern for the safety of the children in the Cerbat Elementary School zone. As everyone well knows, the speed limit in a school zone is 15 mph; on Jagerson the speed limit is 25 mph.

While I am dropping my child off in the morning, I have been frequently tailgated to the point that I am afraid to hit my brakes in fear the car behind me will become part of my trunk. I drive at the posted speed limit, but some drivers do not feel this is fast enough. These drivers are the teachers at Cerbat Elementary, who in a hurried effort try to make it to work on time, are forgetting about the safety of the children they teach. I am asking the staff of this school, please slow down in your school zone and be an example to everyone.
