You can help keep the grounds of St. Mary Church looking great! Everyone is invited to bring a shovel, gloves and hat and meet at 8:30 AM in the area in front of the Old Church on Spring Street on Saturday, May 24th, to help spread new gravel on our grounds. With a good turnout, the task should take about an hour. Join us in keeping our Church grounds beautiful!

A "Baby Shower" to benefit the Advice and Aid Pregnancy Center will be held on Saturday, May 24th, at 1 PM at the Parish Center. Everyone is invited! Donations of items for infant wear and care are appreciated and will be donated to the Pregnancy Center. This event is sponsored by the Belles of St. Mary's.

The series is based on the "Catechism of the Catholic Church," and is a series of DVD presentations on various topics covered in the Catechism. As our Blessed Mother brings us to her Son, Jesus, it is our task also to bring others to the Lord. Is there someone you can invite to explore the Roman Catholic faith - someone unbaptized, or baptized in a non-Catholic Christian tradition? Perhaps you know a Catholic adult who has not yet received the Sacrament of Confirmation? For more information, please leave a message for John and Mimi Timko at the Parish Center, 753-3359.

The Diocese of Phoenix is undertaking a comprehensive restructuring process so that its civil organizational structure matches the canonical organizational structure that is already in place. To help explain the process, the Diocese is launching a separate website to provide basic information On the restructuring and to report on the progress of the process until the transition is completed later this year. The Diocese encourages all who are interested to check this website on a regular basis as it will be updated as further details become available. The website is: http://www.diocesephoenix.org/inc/
