Letter: Supai Village thankful for help

On behalf of the Supai Village, I would like to thank Walgreen's manager for donating candy, to Mohave Wireless for the awesome Halloween bags and to the Kingman Academy of Learning bus drivers who donated money to buy candy so the 80 children will have some place to go Trick and Treat.

After the flood in August, 90 percent of the village is unemployed and having difficult times. The tourists may be able to come back next spring, but in the meantime there is a lack of the most basic items we take for granted.

When the people of Supai are able to shop they do come to Kingman, and they appreciate any help we can give them.
