It's Pumpkin Patrol time

KINGMAN - The Kingman Police Explorers are hosting the 35th Annual Pumpkin Patrol on Halloween. The Pumpkin Patrol consists of police officers, police Explorers and other volunteers who patrol neighborhoods on Halloween night, handing out bags of candy to trick-or-treaters.

Pumpkin Patrol vehicles are identified by plastic pumpkins attached to the patrol cars' and department vehicles' overhead lights. The Pumpkin Patrol helps to ensure the safety of our children, and the added police presence helps to divert any mischief often associated with Halloween night. Tax-deductible cash donations are accepted until Sunday, and candy donations are accepted until Oct. 29. Call 753-2191.
