The county supervisors have a diverse agenda for Tuesday. The Board will meet at 9:30 a.m. in the County Administration Building, 700 W. Beale St.
Besides several planning and zoning requests, the Board will deal with the possible reorganization of the Planning and Zoning Department into the Development Services Department and the possibility of outsourcing subdivision plans.
The supervisors will consider a Treasurer's Office request for an exemption from the county's hiring freeze. The treasurer is asking to hire a new chief deputy treasurer, an accountant and an office supervisor.
County Superintendent of Schools Mike File will ask the Board to consider allowing Peach Springs Unified School District to exceed its 2007-2008 budget by no more than $15,136. The 2008/2009 budget for the school district will be increased to cover the costs.
County Manager Ron Walker will ask the Board to allow him work with the Arizona Department of Real Estate to prepare a draft of an intergovernmental agreement for subdivision investigations.
