GOLDEN VALLEY - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies and the Arizona Department of Public Safety responded to a report of a male in the middle of the roadway Thursday afternoon near milepost 12 on Highway 68. Upon arrival officers found Troy Shelton, 38, of Kingman lying in the roadway. Officers learned that Shelton and his estranged wife were involved in a domestic dispute, which began near milepost 6 on Highway 68. During the dispute, his wife tried to leave in her vehicle when Shelton jumped onto the hood of the vehicle and eventually fell off. He was transported to University Medical Center in Las Vegas, where he is currently listed in extreme critical condition.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jessica Nietzke, 25, of Kingman Thursday evening on an outstanding felony warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia and a misdemeanor for contempt of court. Deputies responded to a disturbance in the 1500 block of John L. Avenue. When deputies arrived, no one at the residence would come to the door. While deputies were talking with neighbors, a male subject exited the home and contact was made. Deputies then made contact with Nietzke, who was inside the home. A warrants check showed the two outstanding warrants. She was taken into custody and transported to the county jail.
