Delfina Shuffler (Garcia) was born Dec. 24, 1945, in Alice, Texas. She was known by her family and friends as "Fina."
She lived in Alice until her family relocated to Southern California, where she graduated high school and continued her education to become a beautician for 24 years.
She married and had two children before locating to Kingman, where she resided for the last 14 years.
Delfina also worked for the Kingman Police Department and the city courthouse before going to work with her husband, Paul, as a bookkeeper for True Value.
Delfina is survived by her mother, Rosa Garcia; her sisters, Elma Hinojosa and Rose Arellano; and her brother, Robert "Rove" Garcia. She is also survived by her husband, Paul Shuffler; and her two children, daughter, Christina Pfleiderer and her husband Mike; and son, David Garcia and his wife Jeanette; her two grandchildren, Lauren Garcia and Devin Pfleiderer.
Delfina was loved by many people and will be greatly missed. Delfina was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Although she has joined her father and one sister, she will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to have her in their lives.
The service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12, at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Sycamore Ave.
