KINGMAN - The Mohave County Public Works Department has the following construction projects and roadwork scheduled this week:
Adopt-a-Highway program has begun and will continue for the next 4-6 weeks. Motorists should be mindful of pedestrian volunteers along roadways.
Traffic control crews will be painting centerline striping in Kingman on Northern Avenue and Bank Street.
North of Kingman, workers will be building shoulders with aggregate base on the east-west streets bounded by Sierra Road and Van Nuys Road.
In Golden Valley, crews will be patching potholes on Teddy Roosevelt Road and Laguna Road from Chino Drive to Chinle Drive, and completing shoulder maintenance on Oatman Highway.
Workers will also be rebuilding the low water crossing apron at the intersection of Bosque Road and Mazatzal Drive.
