Keep an eye out for volunteers along roadways

KINGMAN - The Mohave County Public Works Department has the following construction projects and roadwork scheduled this week:

• Adopt-a-Highway program has begun and will continue for the next 4-6 weeks. Motorists should be mindful of pedestrian volunteers along roadways.

• Traffic control crews will be painting centerline striping in Kingman on Northern Avenue and Bank Street.

• North of Kingman, workers will be building shoulders with aggregate base on the east-west streets bounded by Sierra Road and Van Nuys Road.

• In Golden Valley, crews will be patching potholes on Teddy Roosevelt Road and Laguna Road from Chino Drive to Chinle Drive, and completing shoulder maintenance on Oatman Highway.

• Workers will also be rebuilding the low water crossing apron at the intersection of Bosque Road and Mazatzal Drive.
