Maryland reps to visit MCC to recruit students

KINGMAN - Representatives from the University of Maryland University College will be on the Kingman, Bullhead City and Lake Havasu City campuses of Mohave Community College to meet with MCC graduates with at least a 3.0 grade point average.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, the UMUC representative will be on the Neal Campus in Kingman at 1971 Jagerson Ave. UMUC is one of Mohave Community College university transfer partners. For more information, call (928) 757-4331.

All meetings will be held in the Student Center, Building 200, on each campus to present university and scholarship information.

On Wednesday, the representative will be on the Lake Havasu City campus. On Thursday, the representative will be on the Henry Campus in Bullhead City.

No appointments are necessary. A $3,300 a year scholarship opportunity is available to past MCC graduates as well as those graduating with an associate's degree in May. For information about UMUC, go to
