MSC to host 3D shoot this weekend

KINGMAN - The Mohave Sportsman Club and the Mohave Desert Archers will be hosting a 3-D fun shoot this weekend at the MSC's newly developed 3-D archery range, according to Bob Shaw, who is in charge of the MSC's archery program.

Shaw, who took over the archery program earlier this year, has been working diligently to set up two 15-target courses which were built on the west side of the club's property.

Shaw noted that this is the first shoot of the year for the MSC's Mohave Desert Archers and he invites all of the archery community to come out and enjoy a day in the field and try out the new facilities.

Shaw noted that the shooting times will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, while open shooting can be done from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday.

Shaw said participants can shoot the courses as much as they want.

The fees to shoot the courses for MSC members are $10 for a single person, $15 for members with two family members for both days, and $20 for a member with three or more family members for both days.

Non-member fees are $15 for both days for a single, $20 for two family members for both days and $25 for three or more family members for both days.

There will be a refreshment cart that will be making the rounds.
