DOLAN SPRINGS - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Lilly Louise McMurtry, 26, of Dolan Springs Monday morning on suspicion of felony disorderly conduct involving a weapon. At 8 a.m., deputies responded to the 16000 block of Tom White Drive in reference to a weapons offense that occurred at approximately 12:30 a.m. Deputies contacted a 32-year-old woman. The woman reported that she and her boyfriend were walking on Kitmit Drive northbound toward 14th Street looking for her horse that had broken out of a fence. As they approached 14th Street, they observed McMurtry standing on her porch, holding a handgun and she fired six times on the ground toward their direction. The woman said they immediately left the area. Deputies contacted McMurtry at a residence in the 6000 block of 14th Street. Initially, McMurtry denied having a pistol. After deputies spoke with witnesses, McMurtry admitted to firing six times into the ground. She said she just wanted the woman and her boyfriend to know that she had a gun and to stay off her property. McMurtry was taken into custody without incident and booked into the county jail. The .357 magnum was retrieved and confiscated.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Oddie Lee Skinner, 42, of Kingman Monday morning on suspicion of felony possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools and unlawful flight from law enforcement. On Sunday morning at 6:10 a.m., deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Skinner in the area of Stockton Hill Road and Northern Avenue. The vehicle failed to stop at a couple of intersections with posted stop signs. Eventually, deputies lost site of the white Mitsubishi vehicle. A short time later, deputies located the unoccupied vehicle in the 3500 block of Warbler Lane. A computer check showed the vehicle to have been reported stolen on Jan. 18 from the 3500 block of Diagonal Way. Inside the vehicle, deputies located two bolt cutters, flashlight, face mask, gloves, a hatchet and a knife in a sheath. At 10:30 a.m., deputies contacted Skinner as he was walking south on N. Melody Street near Thompson Avenue. Deputies knew Skinner to have an outstanding warrant and he was a suspect in an unlawful flight incident from the previous day. A records check confirmed Skinner to have a misdemeanor failure to pay fines warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court. Skinner said that he didn't drive anywhere the day before. He was taken into custody and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

DOLAN SPRINGS - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Michael Minton, 42, of Dolan Springs Monday evening on suspicion of felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon per domestic violence and disorderly conduct involving a deadly weapon per domestic violence. At 5:51 p.m., deputies responded to a domestic violence call involving a knife and a shotgun at a residence in the 14400 block of Mineral Road. Upon arrival, deputies contacted a woman. The woman said that Minton, her husband, held a knife to her 17-year-old daughter's throat and he fired a shotgun. Deputies detained Minton. Deputies contacted the 17-year-old daughter. The girl reported that Minton came up behind her and placed a knife against her throat. The girl further reported that her cousin pushed Minton away from her. The girl was not injured. Deputies confiscated a black Smith and Wesson folding pocket knife with a 4-inch blade and a 20-gauge shotgun. Deputies contacted Minton. He said that he fired the shotgun to blow off some steam because he and his wife had been arguing. He admitted to holding the knife to the girl's throat for a few seconds. Minton was taken into custody and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Alfredo Hernandez Quebedo, 28, of Kingman Monday morning on suspicion of felony criminal damage per domestic violence. At 1:40 a.m., deputies responded to the 2100 block of Northfield Avenue regarding a disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies learned that Quebedo had broken two windows in his mother's house and a front windshield of a vehicle. Deputies located Quebedo inside the residence. He was taken into custody and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
