Leslie Spivey and Mark Thompson perform at the Hotel Brunswick Saturday night during the "Historic Downtown Chili Jamboree" barbecue benefit for the family of Ariel Allison. Hotel Brunswick, Siren's Café and Redneck BBQ each made their own chili (available to the public for donations) for a competition. Mayor John Salem, Kingman Councilwoman Robin Gordon and Councilman Ray Lyons judged the chili contest. Zell Henderson of Sportsmans Bar and Debra Sixta of Hotel Brunswick helped organize the event, with help from many in the community. Robin Lecher and Dawni Rotten, owners of Rotten Entertainment, organized the musical entertainment. BS Vibrations provided sound for the bands. Bands included Becca with Special Guests Kenny Ward and Jack Wright, 12 Inch Dandies, Krisy Thompson and View Askew. A silent auction was held and jump houses for kids were set up. All money raised went to the Allison family. Click here to purchase this photo
