KINGMAN - Infectious disease specialist Dr. Jakulla Kahn will discuss A/H1N1 (Swine) Flu at Kingman Regional Medical Center's monthly Lunch & Learn Wednesday.
Khan has specialized knowledge and training for diagnosing and managing infectious diseases. His extensive training focuses on all kinds of infections, including those caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. He also has expertise in immunology (how the body fights infection), epidemiology (how infections spread from person to person), and in infection control.
Lunch & Learn features a different physician presenter each month, focusing on important healthcare topics. The seminars are free and held in the Del E. Webb Wellness Center Conference Rooms from noon to 1 p.m. Participants bring their own lunch and KRMC provides a beverage and dessert.
There is no charge for the program but seating is limited. To ensure enough seating and desserts, please contact KRMC's Public Relations at 681-5061 to make a reservation.
