KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Justin Glen Welch, 23, of Kingman Sunday afternoon for felony disorderly conduct with a weapon per domestic violence. Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call around 1:15 p.m. in the 1600 block of Glen Place and contacted the reporting party, a 46-year-old female. She reported that Welch had become upset and was waving a knife around and threatening her. During conversations with Welch, he allegedly admitted to waving the knife. Deputies confiscated the knife and took Welch into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN - Kingman Police Officers arrested local resident Michael Shane McCormick, 40, Wednesday on charges of burglary, aggravated criminal damage, possession of burglary tools and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers responded to the 2400 block of Detroit around 9:30 p.m. for an alarm call. While responding, officers saw a subject riding an ATV with no shirt on. Officers received information from an unidentified source that a person just left the area where the alarm went off on an ATV. The ATV was located and stopped by officers, and the driver, identified as McCormick, stated that he was at the business where the alarm had sounded but that he was there with friends "paint-balling." Officers located a damaged window with property outside of the window and only one set of ATV tracks. After McCormick was arrested, officers located drug paraphernalia on his person. McCormick was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN - Kingman Police Officers arrested William John Easley, 41, of Kingman Thursday for shoplifting, possession of drug dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and a misdemeanor warrant. Kingman Police officers responded to a local convenience store in the 3400 block of Stockton Hill Road around 1:20 a.m. in reference to management wanting Easley removed from the store for being involved in a previous shoplifting incident. Officers contacted Easley and it was later advised that Easley had a warrant for his arrest. Easley was taken into custody, and police found he was concealing four packages of batteries. While officers were patting him down, they also located two baggies of a substance that later tested positive for methamphetamine. Easley was booked into the Mohave County Jail.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's detectives arrested Heidi Rene Grant, 42, of Kingman Tuesday for burglary and theft, felonies. Deputies responded to a theft report April 14 at a residence in the 1000 block of Christianson Avenue. Deputies contacted a 69-year-old female who said that jewelry and coins were stolen. Investigations determined that a neighbor, identified as Grant, had access to the victim's house. Further investigations determined that Grant had several people attempt to sell the stolen jewelry at local businesses. Detectives contacted Grant at a residence around 2:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of Christianson Avenue where she was taken into custody without incident. She was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
