Dan Robinson, 42, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, in Pioneer, Calif., with his loving wife, Barbara, at his side.
Dan was born Sept. 16, 1967, in Long Beach, Calif., and came to Kingman when he was 8. While attending and graduating Kingman High School, he took nursing home residents to church on Sundays. He turned his part-time school job into his business by leasing Classy Chassis Car Wash on Northern Avenue for many years.
Since Dan was unable to join the military, he washed the VFW and DAV members' personal and transport vehicles for free. It was his way of "serving." I hope he forgives us for telling his secret. At a young age, Dan enjoyed anything to do with engines; he turned a lawn mower into a go-cart, and his love affair with motors blossomed. Dan enjoyed his motorcycles, driving his boats, camping and water skiing.
Dan is survived by his wife, Barbara; parents, Randy and Marlene Robinson of Kingman; and brother, David Robinson. He is also survived by uncles, Richard Robinson and Harry Sheridan; and his best friend, Paul Taff.
He is survived by many, many Canadian relatives.
Services were held in Pine Grove, Calif.
