KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Heather Lee Stinchfield, 25, of Kingman early Wednesday evening for felony possession of drug paraphernalia, along with DUI, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .08, extreme DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .15 and super extreme DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .20. Deputies responded to the 2400 block of John L Avenue where a Ford Mustang almost hit a parked patrol unit around 7 p.m. Deputies observed the vehicle turning right onto Lomita Avenue from John L., then swerve left and right in the roadway. Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of N. Bond Street and Snavely Avenue and contacted Stinchfield, the driver. Deputies smelled an odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle. During conversations with Stinchfield, she allegedly said that she was drunk. Following the field sobriety tests, Stinchfield was arrested. A search of Stinchfield's vehicle revealed a plastic bag containing a white crystal residue which field-tested positive for methamphetamine. Stinchfield was transported to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office where an analysis revealed her blood alcohol concentration to be .223. She was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
