The Patriot Guard Riders helped give USMC Lance Corporal Cody Cornwall (right) a big welcome home Saturday after he returned from a tour in Afghanistan. Cody is a Kingman native and has been in the Marine Corps for two years. The Patriot Guard Riders and other grateful citizens and groups met Cody and his family at their home, then escorted them to VFW Post 10386 for a lunch in Cody's honor. Cody said, "I love this! They should have this for everyone who comes home." He will be home until Jan. 5th, when he returns to his base in Hawaii. He will leave on another tour next November. His mother, Sherri, was happily amazed at the large turnout. "I'm happy for him - he deserves it," she said.
