Police continue search in hit-and-run

Motorcyclist killed in crash identified

KINGMAN - The motorcyclist killed in a hit-and-run accident Monday has been identified as Kenneth Dean Grantham Jr., of Golden Valley.

Grantham, 45, was headed westbound on Andy Devine Avenue around 2:25 p.m. Monday afternoon when the driver of a powder blue pickup truck headed eastbound on Andy Devine made a left hand turn in his path.

Grantham's bike struck the back rear portion of the pickup. Police say the truck driver, described as a white male between the ages of 45 to 50, stopped briefly before continuing northbound on Fairgrounds Boulevard.

Grantham was taken to Kingman Regional Medical Center, where he died 30 minutes later.

Police describe the truck as a 1960s model pickup with a wooden flat bed with 2-inch wooden rails along the side and a rack behind the cab of the truck, similar to what would be used in construction work.
