There's still time to make a donation to KAAP

Christmas is almost here, but there is still time to make a donation to the Kingman Aid to Abused People.

There is a box in the Pro Shop where you may drop off your donation of new toys, clothing for children and women, infant items such as diapers or food stuffs.

Tickets are still available for the New Year's Eve Party at the Clubhouse. You may purchase your tickets at the VVPOA Office for $17.50 per person or $35 per couple.

The party includes dinner, live entertainment by Ken and Dean, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight.

Great news! The Flying A General Store at the entrance to Valle Vista has re-opened under new management. I know how much our residents missed having the store open, so let's be sure to support it so it will remain open.

The Ladies Club had their annual Christmas Party and year-end awards at the Clubhouse recently. Winners for the 18 holers were: Club Champion - Julie Brackett; Club Champion, Low Net - Brenda Stewart; Player of the Year - Gladys Young; Most Birdies - Julie Brackett; Most Chip-ins and Low Putts - Mickey Lewis; and Most Improved - Carole McIntosh.

Winners for the niners were: Club Champion, Most Greenies, Low Putts and State Medallion, Low Gross - Deana Jones; Player of the Year, Club Champion, A flight, Most Chip-ins and State Medallion, Low Net - Patty Thorsen; Club Champion, B Flight - Bobbie Hudgins; Most Birdies - Susie Hilts; and Most Improved - Yours Truly!
