Beverly Louise Higuera, 77, of Golden Valley passed away Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009, at Kingman Regional Medical Center after a short fight with cancer. She was born Aug. 26, 1931, in Butte, Mont., and came to Mohave County nine years ago from Brea, Calif. She worked at Smith's Tools in Irving, Calif., and was a homemaker for 30 years.
Beverly is survived by her husband of 37 years, James G. Higuera of Golden Valley; two sons, Curtis G. (Elke) Austin of Kaiserslauten, Germany, and Kenneth Austin; two daughters, Kathy Austin and Claudia Austin; one brother, Tony O'Neil of Las Vegas; and two sisters, Cheryl Hernandez and Arlene Rosival, both of Reno, Nev. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, eight grandchildren, many friends, and her beloved dog, Precious.
Beverly loved life, bingo, her family and her friends. She will be missed by all. She was the best wife, mother and friend.
