Diana Budden, 55, of Lyons, Kan., formerly of Kingman, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009, at the Promise Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson, Kan.
Diana was born Sept. 21, 1953, in Fairmont, W.Va., to Clyde and Virginia Yost. She was a waitress and cook most of her life.
Diana is survived by one daughter, Rene (Jim) Kasting of Lyons; and two sons, Wade Anderson of Kingman and Jay Budden of Lyons. Diana is also survived by brothers, Dean (Cathy) Yost of Kingman, Michael Yost of Prescott, and Danny (Shirley) Yost of Queen Creek; sisters, Shelby Motley and Barb (Robbie) Harris of Farmington, N.M., and Dordie Mayfield and Patty (Tom) Webster of Kingman; eight grandchildren, Candace, James, Nathan, Brandon, Hannah, Bryce, Riley and Bailey; and two great-grandchildren, Makenza and Alivia; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Grover Lee Yost.
Cremation was arranged by the Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Hutchinson.
A "Celebrating Life" party will be held between 5 and 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 19, at the Kathryn Heidenreich Adult Center, 1776 Airway Ave. in Kingman.
