Asthma talk Wednesday

KINGMAN - Dr. Natarajan Asokan will present "Take Control of Your Asthma" during Kingman Regional Medical Center's Lunch and Learn from noon to 1 p.m. Feb. 18 in the Del E. Webb Wellness Center Conference Rooms.

Asokan's specialty is Allergy/Immunology and Pediatrics. He attended Stanley Medical College at the University of Madras - Chennai, India, and completed his residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He is certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Pediatrics.

Participants bring their own lunch and KRMC provides a beverage and dessert. There is no charge for the program, but seating is limited. To ensure enough seating and desserts, please contact KRMC's Public Relations at 681-5061 to make a reservation.

Variety show Friday

KINGMAN - Cornerstone Mission's Third Annual Variety Show starts at 7 p.m. Feb. 20 in the Betty Rowe Gymnasium at the Kingman Academy of Learning.

Admission to the fundraiser is $25 and includes the performances as well as desserts, sparkling cider and coffee served at intermission.

A silent auction that includes a Phoenix Suns' jersey signed by Raja Bell is planned. This year's theme is "Hats Off to Broadway."

Tickets can be purchased at Cornerstone Mission, 3049 Sycamore, or the Taco Bell Corporate Offices located at 2255 Airway Ave. All proceeds benefit Cornerstone Mission.
