The Kingman Area Chamber of Commerce's Director of Marketing, Ryan Smith, was on hand along with the Chamber ambassadors and friends to help Sandy Reigner cut the ribbon on June 12 to celebrate the change of ownership at Sears Hometown Store in Kingman, 3115 Stockton Hill Road. Sears originally opened around 1994. Sears carries major appliances, electronics, Craftsman tools and lawn and garden supplies. KINGMAN - Exclusive Allstate Agent Angie Weese received the Agency Hands in the Community award for her commitment to helping others in her area. With this award comes a $500 grant from The Allstate Foundation for the Boys & Girls Club of Kingman where Weese volunteers. "Allstate is proud to help the Boys & Girls Club of Kingman with its cause," said Denis Bailey, field vice president for Allstate's Southwest region. "The grant from The Allstate Foundation will provide much-needed assistance for its efforts. We believe in supporting programs to strengthen the communities where we live and work." Through the Agency Hands in the Community grant program, Allstate agents and personal financial representatives are recognized for outstanding commitment to community service with a $500 donation to the charitable organization where they volunteer. To qualify for the grant, agents and personal financial representatives must show evidence of volunteer work that has had a positive impact on the local community.
