Mohave 911: Wednesday, July 8, 2009

GOLDEN VALLEY- Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Steven Blaine Mink, 50, of Golden Valley for aggravated DUI, felony. Deputies responded to the intersection of Sacramento Road and Quartzite Road around 1:40 p.m. in reference to a single-vehicle accident. Upon arrival, deputies observed the vehicle had struck a small tree and a pole. Deputies contacted Mink as he sat in the driver's seat. Golden Valley Fire Department responded and treated Mink's bloody nose. Deputies reported smelling a strong odor of alcohol on Mink. During conversations with him, he admitted to having been drinking, deputies said. Mink fell to the ground as he was exiting his vehicle to perform the field sobriety tests. They were not administered for Mink's safety. A records check showed Mink's license to be suspended. He was taken into custody, transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident. A blood sample was taken from Mink to be submitted to the Department of Public Safety Crime Lab for further analysis. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

KINGMAN¬ - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jorge Andres Baca, 25, of Meadview early Friday on a parole violation felony warrant issued out of Maricopa County Superior Court on March 18. Deputies were dispatched to the Mohave County Jail around 5 p.m. in reference to a subject turning himself into authorities on an outstanding warrant. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the subject identified as Baca. A records check showed Baca to have an active warrant. He was taken into custody and booked into the jail without incident.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested William Joseph Kelso III, 28, of Kingman Sunday on a failure to appear felony warrant issued out of Coconino County Superior Court and two probation violation misdemeanor warrants issued by Kingman Municipal Court. Deputies contacted Kelso at 7 a.m. at a residence in the 2600 block of Jagerson Avenue regarding his outstanding warrants. Kelso was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
