Clarence Culver Jr.

Clarence Culver Jr. passed away at home in Kingman on Tuesday, July 14, 2009. He was born in Tahlequah, Okla., on April 26, 1922.

He moved to Prescott in 1940 where he met and married his wife, Catherine Mary Morris. In 1943, their only child, Clarissa, was born. In 1950, the family moved to Kingman.

Clarence eventually opened up Culver's Electric in 1971 until his retirement in 1992. Clarence was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed his retirement in Meadview. He was a lifetime member of the Kingman Elks Lodge.

He is survived by his daughter, Clarissa Lewis; his brother, Jewell Culver; grandsons, Brad Lewis and Eddie (Kim) Lewis; and great-grandchildren, Jordan Lewis and Grant Lewis.

A celebration of life will be from 5 to 7 p.m. this Saturday, July 18, at 3159 W. Rancho Road (Walnut Creek Estates) off Oatman Road. For directions, call (928) 716-5454.
