Letter: GM must meet conditions

Our government needs to be taught a lesson on what its role in the economy should be. I have decided I will never buy a GM product until the following conditions have been met:

Every single dime in bailout money has been repaid; the U.S. government owns zero percent of GM; the UAW owns nothing more than a token of GM and UAW wages and benefits with GM are in line with other auto manufacturers located in the U.S.; and finally an investigation into whether dealership closings were based on owners' political contributions and/or ethnicity is concluded.

Will my seemingly unreasonable demands brand me as unsupportive of the Obama administration recovery efforts? Yes. Do I care? Not at all. There are more than enough products to choose from out there.
