Hackberry shooting probed

HACKBERRY - The Mohave County Sheriff's Office is investigating a Sunday shooting incident between a boyfriend and girlfriend in Hackberry.

Deputies were called to Kingman Regional Medical Center at 7:34 p.m. Sunday regarding a man with multiple gunshot wounds.

According to the MCSO, Mia Marie Robb, 41, allegedly got into an argument with her boyfriend, Kurt Allen Sanders, 47, and shot him multiple times. She then drove Sanders from their residence in the 10700 block of Pine Valley Drive to KRMC.

Sanders was subsequently flown to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas where he is currently listed in serious condition.

MCSO detectives are not releasing how many times Sanders was shot.

Detectives obtained a warrant and searched the home on Pine Valley Drive. They did locate and confiscate a gun from the home.

Robb was shown to have a blood alcohol concentration of .170 percent. The state limit is .08 percent. She was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI, DUI with a BAC over .08 percent and extreme DUI with a BAC over .15 percent.

The case remains under investigation. It is unknown if further charges will be filed against Robb.
