KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Shannon Marjorie Stosser, 34, and Tracy Lee Robinson, 38, both of Kingman, morning. Stosser was arrested on suspicion of felony aggravated assault on an officer, resisting arrest and unlawful flight from law enforcement. Robinson was arrested on suspicion of felony resisting arrest and a misdemeanor warrant for failure to pay fines issued by Kingman Justice Court. At 10:14 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 4300 block of Baker Drive and contacted Stosser, the driver and a passenger, Robinson. According to the MCSO, Stosser became uncooperative and yelled at the deputy. As the deputy returned to his patrol unit to conduct a records check, Stosser started her vehicle and sped away. Deputies followed and saw Stosser pull into a driveway in the 4400 block of Baker Drive. Stosser and Robinson and began to walk toward the house. Deputies ordered Robinson to the ground, but he ignored the commands. When deputies caught up with Robinson, he resisted by pulling away. As deputies were struggling to take Robinson into custody, Stosser approached a deputy and hit him in the back of the head. Deputies restrained Robinson. When deputies tried to take Stosser into custody she ran toward her vehicle. She continued to struggle and resist and a Taser was eventually used to take her into custody. A records check showed Robinson to have an outstanding warrant. The two were booked into the Mohave County Jail without further incident. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report at the Mohave County Jail Tuesday afternoon of an assault. Deputies contacted a 37-year-old male inmate who reported that he was assaulted by Joseph Lloyd Whybark, 24, of Golden Valley and suffered a cut on his head. Deputies charged Whybark with suspicion of felony aggravated assault.
