KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Darlene Elaine Maphis, 51, of Kingman in the early evening of March 8 on suspicion of felony aggravated DUI. At 5:57 p.m., deputies responded to an accident in the 4900 block of Edie Drive. Upon arrival deputies contacted the reporting party, who said she heard a loud boom and when she looked outside observed a female in a blue truck that had run into a wooden fence and two mailboxes. Deputies contacted the female driver of the truck, identified as Maphis. Deputies reported smelling an odor of alcohol on her. She allegedly admitted to drinking throughout the day. A records check revealed Maphis to have a suspended driver's license for a prior DUI. Maphis was taken into custody and transported to the Mohave County Jail where an analysis revealed her blood alcohol concentration to be .225 percent. She was booked into the jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Zachary Tyler Gaston, 23, of Kingman the evening of March 8 on suspicion of felony possession of stolen property. Deputies were forced to slam on their brakes as they were traveling in their patrol vehicle east on Northern Avenue, crossing the intersection of Bank Street, when a green truck traveling the opposite direction turned in front of them on to Bank. At 8:20 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop and contacted Gaston, the driver. A computer check showed the green 1993 Dodge truck had been reported stolen out of Kingman on Jan.18. Gaston said he borrowed the truck from a friend on Saturday. He was taken into custody and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Adam Scott Curry, 28, of Kingman Thursday afternoon on a felony drug paraphernalia violation warrant and a misdemeanor failure to pay fines warrant, both issued by Kingman Justice Court. Curry was also cited for misdemeanor driving with a suspended driver's license. At 1:45 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of Eagle Drive and Dove Lane. Deputies contacted Curry, the driver. A records check showed Curry to have a suspended driver's license and two outstanding warrants. Curry was taken into custody and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Nancy Kaye Aguilar, 39, of Kingman Thursday evening on suspicion of felony possession of drug paraphernalia, along with misdemeanor driving on a suspended license and a contempt of court warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court. At 9:23 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle in the 6100 block of Bull Mountain Road and contacted Aguilar, the driver. A records check showed Aguilar to have a suspended driver's license and an outstanding warrant. She was taken into custody. Aguilar advised deputies that she had a pipe in the vehicle. Deputies located a glass pipe and a variety of drug paraphernalia items inside a bag. She was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
