Dolan tourism meeting set

DOLAN SPRINGS - A meeting on developing tourism in the Dolan Springs area starts at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the Community Hall.

County representatives will discuss tourism development as it relates to ATV, mountain bike and off-highway vehicles, as well as the community's history as an Old West mining town. The public is invited.

Blood drive Friday

KINGMAN - A United Blood Services blood drive is from noon to 5 p.m. Friday in the St. Mary's Parish Hall, 302 Spring St.

Orlando performs for vets

BULLHEAD CITY - Tony Orlando performs at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Mohave High School auditorium, 2251 U.S. 95. Proceeds will go to the Arizona Veterans Memorial Flame Fund and Vietnam Veterans of America Mohave County Chapter 975.

Admission is $10. Tickets are available from most county veteran organizations and the Bullhead City Finance Department.

Loyalty Day Parade May 2

DOLAN SPRINGS - Applications for the May 2 Loyalty Day Parade are now being accepted. This year's theme is, "Our Veterans Made Us Free," and the application deadline is April 15.

Kids fly free April 18

KINGMAN - Kingman Chapter 765 of the Experimental Aircraft Association's annual Young Eagle Day for ages of 8 through 17 is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 18. Youth, with a signed parental permission form, are given the opportunity to experience aviation first-hand with a free ride in an airplane provided by our members.
