GOLDEN VALLEY - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Lea Lynn Malaro, 35, of Golden Valley Monday afternoon on a felony warrant issued by Kingman Justice Court for marijuana violation, drug paraphernalia violation and smuggling contraband into prison. At 3:35 p.m., deputies contacted Malaro in the 6700 block of Abrigo Drive regarding her outstanding warrant. Malaro was taken into custody and booked into the Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Christopher Lee Johnson, 37, of Kingman Monday afternoon on suspicion of felony aggravated DUI, along with misdemeanor DUI, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .08 percent, extreme DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .15 percent and extreme DUI with a blood alcohol concentration over .20 percent. At 3:05 p.m., deputies responded to the intersection of Bank Street and Jagerson Avenue in reference to a single-vehicle accident. Deputies were unable to locate the involved vehicle or any signs of an accident. A short time later, deputies were informed of the location of the vehicle. Deputies responded to the 6000 block of Bank Street and observed a vehicle facing south in the northbound lane. The front end of the vehicle had heavy damage and had hit a large power pole along the east edge of Bank Street. Deputies observed a male subject sitting in the driver's seat of the vehicle. Deputies contacted the male subject identified as Johnson. Johnson declined medical attention. Deputies smelled a heavy odor of alcohol on Johnson. Johnson allegedly admitted to drinking. A records check revealed Johnson to have a suspended driver's license. Following the field sobriety tests, Johnson was taken into custody and transported to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office where an analysis revealed his blood alcohol concentration to be .290 percent. He was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail without incident.
