The Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District's quick response limited this Sunday morning structure fire in the 2300 block of Carver to the garage, which was fully involved when the first engine arrived. Four engines, one water tender, a medical unit and brush truck with two battalion chiefs and 16 personnel responded. The blaze was kept from entering the house, which suffered moderate smoke damage, but a vehicle parked in the garage was completely destroyed. The cause of the fire is under investigation. The Red Cross was contacted to assist the victims.
