To the citizens of Kingman:
On Feb. 24 at 2:30 a.m., I was awakened with bad pains in my chest on the left side.
My wife took me to KRMC Emergency Room. The doctors there realized I was having a heart attack. Within minutes I was taken to the Cath Lab and I was prepped for emergency heart surgery.
Dr. S. Ismail Bokhari was on call at that time. His expertise saved my life. After approximately two hours in the operating room, I was taken to ICU where I resided for the next four days.
The nurses in ICU are, without a doubt, very caring and understanding. Teri, Tricia, Kathy, Robin and a few others whose names escape me right now, made me feel wanted and waited on me hand and foot.
Whether this is their job or not, I have never been associated with such caring people. They are outstanding and I cannot say enough about them.
Dr. Bokhari looked in on me at least three times during my first day after my operation. He showed how caring he was about my comfort and feelings. In my mind, he is without a doubt the best in his field. I am very proud to say that he can look after me anytime.
The people at KRMC ICU are the best in the world. I just wanted the people of Kingman to know that we should not have to worry about being cared for in the hospital when we have such fine professional people to care for us.
I have nothing but praise for Dr. Bokhari and the staff of ICU at KRMC.
