KINGMAN - Kingman Police Officers arrested Melissa Ann Marshall, 38, of Kingman Tuesday on suspicion of felony possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A purse was located in the lobby of the Kingman Police Department that later was identified as belonging to Marshall. At 8 a.m., Marshall was located in the 200 block of Oak Street at a residence and allegedly admitted that the property inside the purse was hers. Marshall was booked into the Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN - Kingman Police Detectives arrested Mario Francisco Izquierdo, 52, of Kingman on Tuesday for felony shoplifting. At 3 p.m., detectives were investigating a shoplifting that occurred at a local business in the 3200 block of Stockton Hill Road. After the investigation, Izquierdo was located and allegedly admitted involvement. He was booked into the Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Jonathan Paul Monroe, 29, of Meadview Monday morning. Monroe was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of drug paraphernalia. At 11:15 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 3000 block of Northern Avenue and contacted Monroe, the driver. Deputies observed Monroe to be nervous and he advised deputies that the vehicle was not his. Deputies had past contacts with Monroe in reference to drugs and had a K-9 unit respond to the scene. The K-9 conducted a search and alerted his handler. Deputies located under the driver's seat a glass pipe with burnt white residue and a metal pipe with burnt green leafy substance. Monroe was taken into custody without incident. Deputies contacted a passenger. A records check showed the passenger to have an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. The passenger was taken into custody. Monroe and the passenger were booked into the Mohave County Jail.
