GOLDEN VALLEY - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Mark Douglas Strong, 53, of Golden Valley Thursday on suspicion of felony possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, along with misdemeanor driving with suspended license and excessive speed. At 5:32 p.m., deputies stopped Strong's vehicle on Shinarump Drive north of Oatman Road, after observing the vehicle traveling 70 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone. A records check showed Strong's driver's license to be suspended. Strong was taken into custody without incident. A search of Strong revealed a plastic bag containing marijuana. He was booked into the Mohave County Jail.

KINGMAN - Mohave County Sheriff's deputies arrested Daniel Raymond Haynes, 51, of Kingman Thursday evening on suspicion of felony possession of drug paraphernalia.At 10:18 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 4400 block of North Lomita Street. Haynes said that he and his wife were arguing. Deputies located a marijuana pipe in Haynes' possession. He was taken into custody and booked in the Mohave County Jail.
